I sure hope they made it smaller in the last 6 months, that will never fit in my pocket :)

And talk about wanting to make sure it is a Cingular device, look at the two places the name appears. I would charge advertising fees.

That's not even close to what the OS looks like. The EDGE is at the bottom of a shallow V shaped bar in the middle of the screen near the top.

What are the three top buttons? I take it the green one with a phone logo is to activate your phone, and the red one is to end your call. But what's the middle one with a thin white bar?

And the size. Is it as wide as my 7290? It seems to be smaller in width than a 7290, but wider than a 7100.

It looks cool. gotta get one.

The middle button is to launch your default web browser. This may be programmable, but I have not spent enough time with one ;) to say whether it is or not. It is wider than the 7100, narrower than the 7290 and about the same length as a 7290, which is not as long as a 7100r. Or so... the unit looks and feels a fair amount smaller than the 7290, but that may be somewhat biased in that I am used to my Speck Products case being on my 7290.

Apparently, based on whats on blackberry.com that is what the Cingular screen/theme looks like... the Rogers theme, if that's what it was I was looking at is much different on the top.

As per the interactive demo at Blackberry.com (http://www.blackberry.com/products/blackberry8700/blackberry8700c.shtml) it is a user-definable convenience key "a fast and easy way to open applications." There are two of these keys the other is on the left side.

The size is on the spec sheet: 4.3x2.7x0.8 inches or 11x6.5.1.95 cm

Oh man I still think that theme is hideous. I hope it's relatively easy to put different themes on it.
