No Sms/text Option On 7250

I recently bought a Blackberry 7250 on ebay to replace my old razor that i destroyed. i got the phone, activated it, everything works fine, except i cannot text at all, i recieve them but cannot reply, ive asked the ppl at the store and called the help line twice, they have no idea, i dont even have the option to compose sms text like i should, i dont understand, ive updated software fully, done a factory wipe twice, nothing helps. can some1 please please please help me?

There is probably an old IT policy on the device preventing SMS.

Check the FAQ for how to remove it.
