Looks kool. Don't think I'll be payin' for it though.
At least not yet. :) Haha
Great idea!

Looks good, but no purchase for me. I've purchase 3 themes and have removed them within a day. They never quite live up to their billing. And since you can't demo themes, I'm not purchasing any more.

Does look good but I'll not be paying for it either, I have an aversion to paying for anything without trying it first!

I know you've put the hours in, but, if I don't get on with it I've wasted my money!

YMark & Henry -

Sorry you've had bad experiences with other theme builders, but I know they would not have been with my themes, so the old adage that "1 person ruins it for all" is true .

I have multiple BB's that all themes are tested on first. I just picked up a Storm yesterday so I can test builds for it.

On a side note, the Storm is a pretty cool BB. I originally bought it just for testing, but I can actually see myself carrying it on the weekends! The screen clarity is amazing.

Magnum, my point wasn't that some of these themes don't work and are buggy (although that is certainly the case with one of them). My point is that until you put the theme to use for the way each individual uses their Blackberry, you don't really know if the theme is going to "fit" your blackberry lifestyle. For example, on one of the themes, I didn't know that scrolling left and right meant moving the trackball up and down. Up was left, down was right. This to me is unacceptable. But until the theme can be used, this isn't known.

I wish developers could put a timeout on themes, where they're only active for 3 days. I'd love to try your theme, I'd know within a day if I was going to keep it. But the gamble of $7 isn't worth it to me.

The gamble for you would be to let me try it for 2 days. If I like it, I'll pay you $7, if I don't, I'll delete it.

Ahh-ha, a little research led me to some info.

In a kind manner and voice: Please don't piss on me because of the bad luck you had with builders that bend the rules and sell themes with beta versions of builder software.

I wouldn't ruin a reputation or confidence for a few dollars.

Just so we are clear, to the best of my knowledge you never bought a theme from me that was buggy.

I do agree trial versions of themes would be great.

Magnum, thanks for the reply, but you missed a point of mine.

For the record, you're correct I have never purchased a theme from you, and didn't imply that I have. The point you overlooked is that while a them may not be buggy, it often doesn't suit the users need. There is really no way to know this without trying the theme out. A lot of themes look good on screen shots, but putting after putting them in action, they fail to deliver. That doesn't mean they're buggy, they just don't meet the user's needs.

Is it posible to do like a "partial" theme? Maybe only one or two screens are setup the way they would be, the rest is a generic theme?

Or what about trial themes with restrictions not unlike shareware software. A watermark or option that's in the pay version isn't available in the free version
