I currently have a Nextel i7100 and i'm getting a 8130 from alltel Can I take the stuff off my i7100 with my download manager and put it on my 8130 ??

Yes, use Desktop Manager (install the latest version) and start the "Switch Device Wizard" which will copy everything from your old 7100i to the new 8130.
