So, here's the deal I have had my bb7100t for about three weeks and the caller id has not worked yet, I talked to TMO they told me to do a hard reset, didn't do the trick. I have upgraded the OS and desktop, to no avail still doesn't work. Any insight would be great. Thank you in advance!

Yes, I couldn't fid anything about caller ID functions at all.

Rule out the BB as the culprit.

Take your handset to your local T-Mobile Retail Store. Have them put your SIM card into one of their phones and do a test call to see if caller ID comes up. If it doesn't, there is something wrong with your account, not the phone.

If it does work in the other phone, have the sales rep put his/her SIM in your BB to see if it works.

maybe the problem is in your SIM card, the Tmobile support should have asked you to go and do a SIM card swap, it is free. I had to do it for a different issue, and the issue went away.
