Installed software for my 7290 on my PC running XP Home. I am trying to synch with MS Outlook. As the software contacts the 7290 and reads the BB, it suddenly crashes. The MS box comes up and after hitting "Debug" on the Report Problem screen, It tells me there is something wrong with the RIMM software.

Can anyone help here?? If you need more info, just ask!!

Start going one by one with the PIM applications to narrow down which one is causing the crash. Open desktop manager, connect the BlackBerry, open Intellisync, click configure PIM and only have one of the 4 boxes checked. click ok and do a synchronize now. Does it crash or work? if it works, go back into configure PIM and select the next one in the list, then synchronize now.

Eventually one will fail. My guess is going to be Calendar. Make sure all your calendar appointments have an end date on them. That is #1 reason for calendar failure.

Next option is to create a new MAPI profile (mail profile) and configure intellisync to use it.
