Can you change the default search in teh BB Browser

By default the search engine is yahoo. You can use the dropdown and select Google, but I would prefer it to have it as my default when I open the browser.

I am using a Curve 8900 on a 4.6 OS.

Go into your browser options - browser config - change the browser setting to internet browser - go down to default search provider - change it to google.

You have BB Browser selected, change it to Internet Browser.

Whats the difference between Blackberry Browser and Internet Browser. I have traditionally always use Blackberry Browser. Seems like the Blackberry Browser goes through my company BES, therefore sites are blocked. Internet Browser allowed me to get to blocked sites but is there any difference in data usage or anything?

BB Browser goes threw your companies BES/Internet Connection, Internet Browser goes threw public BIS.. Less restrictive thats really it.
