How do I get an unlocked T-Mobile Blackberry to work on my Cingular BIS??

Do I have to call T-Mobile or Cingular?

1. Contact Cingular.
2. Have a BlackBerry Data Package added to your account.
3. Create a BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) account: https://webclient.blackberry.net/WebMail/Window.jsp?site=mycingular
4. Login add your PIN and IMEI followed by POP3 accounts.
5. Your good to go.

you're probably missing one vital procedure: "provisioning" . . . you must have your BB provisioned to Cingular from TMO. Blackberry assigns (provisions) each device to a particular carrier at a time, this is how messages get to the device based on your service provider network. In this case, Cingular Service Book would have to be sent to your device after provisioning is transferred.
