No sound on IM+

I installed IM+ 3.0.25 on my new 7100i and all messaging services work and it vibrates but there is no sound. I tried testing the sound and turning up the volume, nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

I used to have the same problem....
Make sure that your status is set to "available"
If you're "unavailable," you wont be alerted with new messages or replies.

Tried checking avalible staus and still did not help. Thanks for the suggestion. Any other suggestions?

Try assigning a different "tone" to the IM messaging "new message" and "new alert" tone type. If that fails, try to reload the application using your desktop software. If all else fails, place the blackberry underneathe a car tire, press the brake pedal, then mash on the gas.
