I have seen posts on other sites explaining how to delete these apps. When I go to advance settings and then apps and facebook is not there, nor do I see service books. Can anyone tell me how I would go about deleting these? I just got my curve about a week ago and its on Sprint. Thanks.

So it is neither in the Service Books, or the applications lists...

When you click on either of these icons do they send you to a webpage or go into an actual application?

Head back to the applications menu and hit the menu key and choose modules, look for myspace or facebook.

I would also resend your service books and look in there again, alot of the US carriers now push FB as service book.

Maybe just want to hide them if all else fails.

I had something similar when I upgraded, and backed up, i lost facebook, but all my other apps remained. actually alot happier without it to be honest, and havent bothered to reinstall.

If it's a new phone those are just links to download the app.

Alright I found where to delete them. I was looking for service books in the wrong place. Thanks for all the info. Anyone got anymore advice for freeing up some space and getting your BB running a little quicker and smoother?

At the top of this forum, a sticky:

And in the BlackBerryFAQ:
