This may be of help
We have had several BB's that keep turning themselves off, irrespective of the battery indicator strength level showing full.
The only way to get them back on was via battery pull.
Affected devices: 8700, 8310, 8120
All devices being used as mobile and email.
Having tried upgrading and reloading the software without any success we tried simply replacing the battery. So far the devices have gone 28 hours without turning themselves off.
I suspect that the constant drain and re charge has caused issue on the battery. All three users have car kits which also re charge when in cradle.
