Problem while calling

Hi,

From today afternoon I am facing this problem.When I call anyone with my Blackberry Pearl 8110 ,The phone gives some tic tic sound like a clock and I can see two arrows at the top right corner blinking at that time.

I dont know whether this is a problem with the phone or some feature.I can also see the volume display moving according to the sound.

I saw GSM or GPRS signal indications in my mobile.So probably I might need to do a hard reset.Pl. let me know how can I do a hard reset on 8110 phone.

The two arrows that you see are normal. They indicate data activity such as when you are on a call or using internet features. This is absolutely normal.

To do a hard reset. Make sure your phone is turned on and proceed to remove the battery. Wait about 30sec. and put the battery back into place and let the phone load up.

With the device powered on, remove the battery for 30 seconds and replace.

Even after hard reset,the audio when I speak on the phone keeps breaking with some small sound.This is a new phone bought a week ago.
