Email Question

BB Curve 8320, just upgraded to 4.5...

When I get emails with images I still get the http:// blah blah business, I thought the upgrade to 4.5 would allow me to view those images, or am I wrong?

Are you referring to HTML e-mail?

If you're referring to html email, yes, it does support that. Are you on BES? If so, your BES must support it too. Go into email settings on your handset and make sure html mail is enabled. If you're on BIS, resend your service books. You can also try a battery pull.

Open a e-mail that contains images, thenpress your menu key. You should see a menu item called "Get Images". Select this, you should see a pop-up that says "downloading interent images can expose your address. Continue?", with a Yes/ No Option. Select Yes.

No such settings available and no such menu option as open/get image

What is HMTL email, this is just regular email... such as I ordered something online I get their banner but its http://whatever whatever but I have no images, on any email I get.

Resend your Service Books.

Then go to Messages > Menu > Options > Email Settings. And for EACH email address you have set up on the device, be sure that "Enable HTML Email" is set to "Yes". Save your changes.
