Friend of mine goes to yard sales and stuff, and found a Verizon 8830 for $5; it was dead; had an error screen. So I followed all the instructions on this sight (thank you to all), wiped it with JL_Cmder, reinstalled the Verizon OS from their sight, and called Verizon to have mine switched over (I have a Storm and hate it; wanted to go back to a real keyboard). After much consternation, the techs at Verizon told me this was probably a corporate model, and security and Enterprise servers are locked, and will not go away with a wipe. We got the phone portion working, I even got emails starting to download, but even after sending all the books, the browser still did not work, despite everything being setup correctly, and I still could not send emails. And the darn thing is password locked, which is annoying, and that didn't go away even with a wipe wither. Is there anyway to COMPLETELY wipe this handset so I can use it without pushing new security settings from a corporate network, or is it destined for the can, since I'm not a corporate user? Any help would be appreciated.

You probably need to remove the IT policy.
