Can anyone tell me if there is away for locking the keypad automatically on a 8900?
Can you buy an app for this?
Or must you lock the keypad by hand.
What i'm after is for my 8900 to lock the keypad say after 10secs or so.

Regards

Keith

You can set a password on the device and a password timeout which will automatically lock the device.

I haven't tried it on my 8900, but I think my daughter uses Auto Lock:

Does anyone know how to uninstall this app if it's on your device?

Welcome to the forums.

Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Highlight the Application > Menu Key > Delete

Thanks very much. Should have figured that one out for myself but I'm new to this blackberry lark and the manual included with this box of tricks is somewhat limited.

Welcome to the forums.

Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Highlight the Application > Menu Key > Delete

It's even easier than that now. I am not sure if this is just with the 8900, or OS 4.6, but now, for most, if not all programs, all you have to do, is have the 'cursor' (not sure how to describe it) on the problem, press the menu key, and del is an option. I have deleted several programs this way. It just saves a few keystrokes. (y)
