Are you using BWC or BES? If you are on BWC, all you need is the mail account and password, not incoming/outgoing server names....

With a 7100, shouldn't matter whether on BES or BIS. Just go to the Blackberry BIS site for your carrier, create an account (if haven't already), and add mail.com email to your account. All you should need is email address, user name, and password. Or, after creating BIS account, just have your email.com emails auto-forwarded to the BIS account (assuming mail.com has forwarding). There are lots of threads on this site discussing the pros/cons to both options.

BES and BIS/BWC are two entirely different things, of course it matters.....

Of course there is a difference between BES and BIS. But, it doesn't matter for this user's question.

All question asks is how to sync mail.com email. Since user has a 7100, even if user is currently only on BES, user can set up a BIS account to deal with the mail.com email.

I see what you are saying, I was looking at if from the point of view that the user did not know much at all abou bb and I didn't know if he was trying to get this mail on BES or what....

No worries. I should have been more clear in my initial response about what I was recommending. (y)

I am using BWC. The Mail.com Support indicated that my email account didn't support Synchronizing Account.
