I have to say this is one of the worst released product in history. Get the darn thing out for the public to buy and call it a day. The date continues to change and nobody knows anything. The best part is visiting a Cingular store and the sales team having NO FREAKING idea what a 8700 is or when its coming out or anything.

CINGULAR NEEDS TO BETTER TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE. CAN YOU SAY, CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwllllllllllllllllllllll

The date hasn't changed for Cingular since launch.
November 21, 2005

And no, the sales persons may not even know that. They will get training and information closer to November 21,2005.

Did I mention that the release date is 21 November 2005?

i have to agree with the junkie..
what a poor release plan..
do a search on the cingular site and you get the address of a sales office in colorado or something.
Cingular You Suck..

I am just wondering why you think this is such a bad release plan? The date has not changed, all they key people that buy Blackberries seem to know about it (i.e. the Government and Corporations), we all knew about it pretty much a month before it was released......what else do you want.... a free unit?

Seems like Cingular is doing a pretty good job, considering the average American wants a RAZOR more than a Blackberry.

As for the Cingular website, do a Search for Blackberry 8700C or just 8700C:

Not exactly sure what else your looking for.....

for people that dont need this phone for the coporate functions, would you say the other features still make this a smart choice for a phone? I assume the web browsing alone on the high speed edge might make it worth it, i suppose. It says the phone can pull 10 private email accounts. does that include if you have a hotmail account? thanks

I work for GE and called the Cingular NBO # today (National Business Ordering). Rep told me still 11/21 ETA - but tentative and my price with a one-year contract is $349.00. It is available for Pre-Order via the NBO 800#, not on-line via Cingular Premiere.
