System: Exchange 2003 with outlook 2002

Problem: Desktop Manager picking up the wrong email addresses for each of the contact that already exist on the global address book. E.g. a copy of contact had been save to the local contact from the global address book.

Once syn it take the wrong address from the global address book.

E.g. On the global address book contact abc show on the email addresses tab:
X400:c=AU;a=;p=ABC;o=Exchange;s=Surname;g=FirstName
smtp:FSurname@<hidden>
SMTP: FSurname@<hidden>

In the local contact show:
Email address: FSurname@<hidden>

Then I use the desktop manager to syn with the BB.
The BB will show this contact with an email address: FSurname@<hidden>

I had try using desktop manager ver: 4.7, 4.6, 4.5, 4.3
All came with the same result!

The onlt version that pick the right address is 4.2 with and wiothout SP2

So what is wrong?

That's your answer. Desktop Manager version 4.2 is the last version that supports Outlook 2002. Otherwise, you need to update your Outlook version to a compatible version.
