Gmail attachments

Does anyone know how to open a powerpoint presentation and/or a wmv file from within Gmail. I know you can save the file and send it to Google Docs but I would like to just open the attachment from with Gmail.

OS 4.5 has Slideshow togo which allows you to view power points.
