My Blackberry keeps restarting in 10 second cycles...help

This does not even leave enough time to run the JL_Commander or replace the OS...

What can I do? any suggestions?

Do you have a media card, and have you tried removing it?

No, I dont have any media card installed...it just started to behave this way..

It starts up...
shows the busy cursor for 5 seconds...
shuts down (the red light turns on on the top corner) for 3 seconds.
then this cycle continutes...

All I can advise is http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/What_to_do_next_if_Jl_Cmder_will_not_connect_and_wipe, and keep trying until you catch it. I haven't actually had to do it, so no personal experience to give.

Do a search for safe mode (sorry can't recall exact technique). This method allows the boot to occur without running or loading 3rd party apps which are the likely cause of cycle.
