finally got one now i need help

i finally got me a balck berry but im having problems... i haven swapped my phones over yet cuase my contract is almost up and im waiting for that.. i have a BB 8703e and i cleaned going through settings but when i try to use my email it keeps bringing back the old users email(yes this is a used phone) and it stil has their number in it... im wanting to change everything around and get the phone ready to i can get rid of my old flip phone *cringe* any kinda help will be greatly accepted... also what is this i keep hearing about jail breaking?? and how do i load up other apps.. can this phone play videos and music? where can i find these things.... sorry for sounding like such a noob but im only 14....

8703 is very limited. Make sure you have the latest OS, you may get you tube but NOT likely to download your own music or videos.since you do NOT have a media card

OS??? is there a way i can put music off my pc onto phone... im still really lost....

Sounds like you need to contact the seller and have them delete their BIS account.

As for music, the 8700 series has limited memory and no SD card either, so it isn't a very good device for music.

Before you try to do anything to break it, you need to find a user guide for the 8703 (Google can help). Also read our FAQ and search for answers to your specific questions.

To get the full benefit of the device, you will need a BB data plan, not a regular data plan. Check the FAQ article on why you need a data plan.
