So I have one app that I can't download anymore and I want to get it from my old 8830 to my new curve. I tried to back up like it says in the FAQ, but I can't find the damn folder. Can someone help me out?

Also, is there a good way to transfer my password vault from one BB to another?

Start / Run %temp%

In that folder you sould find a backup of all of the loaded applications in a folder with your BB PINs name.

You can Add that program to your new BB via Desktop Manager.

If you use the Switch Device Wizard, all of your data (including Password Keeper) and applications will be copied over.

One thing however, if the app isn't specifically for your new device, it might not work correctly. Also, some registration codes are PIN specific. Might want to check with the developer to make sure you have a license and that it will run.
