Help Media Card Problem!

So i recently put a media card into my blackberry pearl 8130, but once it is in and says the media card is detected, shorly after it says " A media card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk, error-checking utility on the computer." What am i supose to do!?

I would try formatting the card from your Blackberry.

From the Options menu, go to Media Card, press the Blackberry button (to the right of the green phone button) and select "Format Card".

Should clear up the problem.

is this media card ever been used in another device beside your BB ?

If you have a MicroSD to SD Card adapter and a card reader on your pc; put the card into the computer and in My Computer right click on the card (it'll appear as a drive), go to Properties and then Disk Checking. Make sure both boxes are checked on the resulting dialog box.
This method will keep your files unlike a format.
