Hi...just returned from a long weekend, plugged my BBerry on to sync, and "process stopped, unknown error" comes up. Tried for about an hour, reset configs, went to default configs, etc. Last step was to reload software....ame thing. "Process stopped, unknown error"....any suggestions?

check at the following location, C:\documents and settings\<USER>\Application data\Research in Motion\blackberry
there delete the folder called intellisync and try again.
Also you can try sync each component by itself, like just calendar, then just contacts and so on to find out where is the problem

Another possible fix to try: Note the database being sync'd when the sync errors out. Use the advanced feature in desktop manager backup module to delete that particular database. Then re-sync.
