Change computers and synching with DTM

I am changing use from my desktop to a laptop computer and want to sync with Outlook from the laptop. However, the Intellisync won't recognize the BB Curve 8330. Both computers have same software: WinXP, Outlook 2000, DTM 4.2 sp2. I installed DTM on the laptop and plugged phone in but won't recognize phone. Do I need to move some file from the desktop or eliminate something from the BB to allow this change ? Thanks

Is your USB connected directly to the laptop, or via a hub? DM doesn't like hub connections sometimes...

Sometimes my ThinkPad (X31, Win XP SP3) is slow to recognize a connected device. Trying a different USB port often helps, and like ndub33 said, no hubs. Also logging out and back into Windows can straighten out connection issues, as can a computer restart.
