Outgoing E-Mail Domain Selection

I have a seemingly funny issue with outgoing e-mails. My Gmail account is set as my default. On some outgoing messages to a Gmail address, the phone will switch to my secondary account (BIS) but on others the phone will keep the default outgoing account.

It always seems to keep the default outgoing domain when sending to non-Gmail addresses (e.g., Yahoo!).

Is there any rhyme or reason to this?

Which folder are you in when it occurs? I have 4 different Email addresses on my BB and Composing always uses the Email from the folder I am in.

If you used an email account other than the default to email a contact the BB will "remember" that you used that email address and default to it (specifically for that contact) instead of the default set on the device.

Switching the Send Using field should make it default to whatever you use.
