BES 5 Allow users to only download Google Maps?

Hi,

I am rolling out new Blackberry Bolds on our BES 5 server. Our default IT policy doesnt allow 3rd party app downloads.

Is there any way to make an exception for Google Maps, as currently i am having to change the users IT policy to one that allows app downloads, download the app and then change the policy back, which is obviously a bit time consuming

You need to use Application Control Policy which is part of Software Configuration.
Create a policy to disallow all applications by defauly, with the exception of Google Maps which you can make Optional or Required.
The BES 5 documentation covers this.
