I just bought a Blackberry 7290 off ebay so it didnt come with any instructions so i have no idea what to do!?!?!?
It says Data connection failed.. how do i fix that??
Can i get any new ring tones??
How do i go on the internet??
All ?'s for now bet there will be more.

First thing you need is a BlackBerry data plan with your carrier. Without that, no email, no internet. Once you have the BB data plan you can use the browser and download ringtimes. There are plenty of free ones. I suggest you read the BlackBeryFAQ -- link in my sig.

I have the unlimited data plan that i had with my old phone. Is the blackberry data plan diffrent then the normal one??

Yes. It is a special plan for BlackBerrys.

Call your carrier. They can add it. It is not free.
