Need help on my 8100

Ya, my friend gave me his blackberry its about 3-5 weeks old now and it wont turn on , i'll take the battery out and put it back in it , the LED light turns red for approx 3 seconds then starts flashing, i plug it in my computer , but nothing happens. it wont read the phone or anything , nor my brothers computer

anyone know how to fix this ?

Is the battery charged? Plug into a wall outlet and let it charge for a few hours and see if it will turn on them

To charge via the PC, you need to have Desktop MAnager installs as that installs the drivers for charging via USB. And do not plug into a HUB either. BB's do not like them at all.

I have desktop Manager, i have the OS , i have everything i need.

it just wont detect on my cpu through the USB , im not sure why :S
