Will you shop for 8700 on Friday?

Are you going to brave the crazed shopping crowds and try to pick up an 8700 this Friday?
I'm going to try at least one store here in San Diego just because it's within walking distance of my home. If I hear they are actually in stock somewhere else in town, I probably will venture out and become a crazed shopper myself.

Sounds like its gonna be a crapshoot here in New York. Before ordering mine, I went to several stores in Midtown Manhattan and got answers ranging from "We haven't heard anything about it" to "Stores won't see it for 2 weeks" so much luck to you Celcius. May your blackberry hunt prove successful.

The Cingular stores around Jacksonville all say they will not see the 8700c for a few weeks. If you want one, the phone call to Cingular will be your best bet.

No. I called my rep and I will get one next week or the following. Meanwhile I am happy with my 7100G.

i just ordered mine from cingular over the phone today.. should expect to see it in 3-5 business days. i'd go to the mall tomorrow, but i'm on call this week!

If Cingular has them in stock, the boss and I are going to go and upgrade first thing in the morning. Sure hope they have them in stock!
