Hi guys,

I tried to seach this topic in the BB help website and I got this:

Go to Options -> General Options -> Perform the following functions:

1) To request that your phone number is hidden, change the Restrict My Identity field to Always.

2) To request that your phone number is displayed, change the Restrict My Identity field to Never.

3) To request that the network operator decide to hide or display your number, change the Restrict My Identity field to Network Determined.

However, I cannot find the 'General Options' feature in my BB Bold 9000. Can someone please enlighten me on this?

Really appreciate!!

Best regards,
Ken

Press the green SEND button which will take you to your call log. Now hit MENU... find OPTIONS, pick GENERAL OPTIONS... now scroll down to the 4th item: RESTRICT MY IDENTITY...

Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000)

What is this feature for? Does it block your number from showing up on others call display?

Hi
Is it possible to restrict your identity to all calls that are not in your contacts but show it to those calls that are??
Thanks

Yep. Set Restrict My Identity to ALWAYS. Edit every phone number in your phone book and prefix it with 1182, ... which will unblock the number for that call.
