read email on BB showing as unread on PC outlook

i have a blackberry Pearl routed through a BES server linked to work outlook server .
when an email is read on the BB the PC outlook does not update to show as read

ok when read on the PC , the BB is also updated shortly afterwards .
Any ideas anybody

if you read a message on the BB and then go to Outlook Web Access does it show as read?

Read marks don't immediately reconcile, they're batched and typically should be visible within 5 minutes.
