Bloomberg on Blackberry

I have an MD with a Blackberry Bold with Bloomberg installed on it. The problem we seem to be having is every time he logs in it asks for a B Unit. Now I have other MD's with the Bold, 8310, and 8900 who have Bloomberg that do not have to enter a B unit every time. The first time I called Bloomberg they told me you should only need a B unit for upgrades and new installs. Now they are telling me not it’s the device which I find hard to believe since other then that the device is fine. Anyone encounter this?
