Blackberry Desktop NON Redirector!!!!!

I am having trouble with Blackberry Redirector.

Our work server is Domino and we use Lotus Notes. I have installed Outlook and IBM Connector and emails reconcile on my laptop from notes to outlook.

However, Redirector either does not detect my email address but when I override the field with my work email address it just hangs saying "Verifying forwarding email address".

I have searched for the answer for ages and cannot seem to locate the solution.

Can anyone provide an answer?

Redirector does not work with Notes. Exchange only. It is MAPI based.

Is that the case even if I've installed IBM Outlook Connector for Lotus Notes which is MAPI
based.

I was advised that this would work. Perhaps I've been given duff information.
