Blackberry 8820 is unresponsive after unlock

I recently unlocked my new BlackBerry 8820, and when I tried to put in my SIM card, nothing happens except for a red light that flashes at the upper right hand corner of the device. I cannot turn it on.

How did you unlock it?

I entered in the code I ordered from unlocktotalk.com. After putting my SIM card into the phone, it became unreponsive, failing to turn on or do anything at all besides flash its red light.
