8820 BBM notification alert has no sound or vibrations

Hi,

I would greatly appreciate if some kind soul could help me solve this simple problem which i could not solve by myself.

My BBM doesnt has a sound or vibrates when someone msgs me. Is there a place to set the sound alerts?

If the above is set then pull the battery and put it back in.

i actually got it all along. just that i was to focused on the ringtone that i didnt see the first option which is the mute.
