Tethered modem capability

Does the 8700g have the tethered modem capability that lets you use the device as a wireless modem for my laptop or PC?

i dont know about the 8700g but i just got my 8700r working recently.

pretty dissapointed about speed though, like 15kps downloads on average. ;/
