It appears that CNET's bandwidth speed calculator works if you make some changes in the browser options. While in the browser, change the following:

Emulation Mode: Microsoft IE
Checkmark Support Javascript

You can reach the test page here: http://reviews.cnet.com/7004-7254_7-0.html

Here are my results:
Signal Strength: -71dBm
Pass 1 - 93.5 Kbps
Pass 2 - 111.6 Kbps
Pass 3 - 29.5 Kbps

I was able to get 403 Kbps earlier and from the same spot, so I'm not sure why the speeds vary so much.

How long should it take to run? I let it go for 10 minutes with no results.

Be sure you have javascript enabled. It should only take 30 seconds or so.
