Can't send sms messages!?!

Hi everybody, I just got a blackberry 7290 off ebay. I had a phone with at&t(not a blackberry) that died so I just switched the sim. I can call out, recieve sms, but just can't send sms. I even tried the advanced options to hosting table, and changed to gprs. Anybody got any ideas?

SMS is a phone issue, not data. Most likely you need to call the carrier and make sure SMS is enabled on your plan for that device.

Could SMS be disabled via an old IT Policy?
