i set my ringtone to a song that i have on my blackberry. the problem is that the ringtone keeps changing to antelope. how can i permanently keep my ringtone to the song i like without it changing everytime i charge my phone??

Can you walk us thru exactly how you're changing the ringtone, and what profile is set to 'Active'?

the profile is set to normal

i press the menu button and go to music
once i find the song i like i press the menu button again
then i press 'set as ring tone'
then it saya where the song is, and i press 'ok'
then my ringtone will be set
but not for long :-(

What happens if you edit the Normal profile and set the ring tone that way, instead of the other way around? Make sure both in and out of holster options are set with the song you want.

the in and out holster are exactly the same
but i cant set the ringtone by changing the profile
i have to go to my music to set my ringtone

where it says RINGTONE:
you change the ringtone there.
This will then be saved and be your ringtone.

how can i save one of my songs as a ringtone?

you click on the ringtone part.
scroll through the list to get to browse...at the top
then browse to your media card/wherever they are stored, select.
save profile

i think i figured it out
i put all my songs into my ringtones file on the phone
now i set my ringtone as moby dick my led zeppelin
hopefully now it wont change
