a few 8830 world edition questions

So i received a shiny new 8830 world edition. First question is, on my old 8703, the top "mute" button would change the active profile from whatever it's on to "vibrate only". Now it puts the BB into suspend mode. Is that feature totally gone?

Second, what're the two small gold connectors on the left side of the 8830? I couldn't find mention of it in the guide that came with it nor does anyone here know.

i believe its now a keyboard shortcut, but Im not totally sure.

I believe they are for charging the battery using a charging pod.

Ah very cool. Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can dig up the shortcut.

Shortcut is "F" to access profiles and "V" to set the vibrate one, "Q" for quiet, etc. Two keystrokes required.
