BB Strom keeps locking itself

My BB Storm keeps locking itself, and i dont have it set to. its no certain set of time i dont think but it happens very often without any contact with the button. Help!!

What do you mean by "locking itself"?

the phone locks like if you would hit the lock button. but i have it sitting in front of me and it goes into lock mode by itself without the button being touched and i dont have it set to lock after a certain amount of time.....

If your on a BES maybe the IT policy is set to lock. It may be that the BB does not want to work and is taking a nap.
Ok , just kidding. Try to add a lock time and let it lock. then change it to off then save, then pull the battery to reset it. That may work.

i tried that before you posted without any luck but i did 6 battery pulls and it finally seems to have stopped so everything is good! thx for the help much appreciated :)
