New Storm User

Hello,

I just purchased a Storm from Verizon and wanted to know what I should do as a first time user? I got tired of waiting for the iphone to come to verizon.

This will be personal use, no business.

1. What apps?
2. updates?
3. Linking to hotmail, mobleme, gmail?
4. ?

I own a mac laptop, what desktop software should I use until rim releases their own?
