Alt NMLL Trick on 8700

When you hit Alt (half moon) NMLL on a prior BB's it would turn the signal strength bars into a number. Anything under 100 was a reasonably good signal. Just tried it and it doesn't work on the 8700. Anybody got an idea?

you have to hold the alt button!

As you did before; yup still works. Got an 86 here :). Never tried Cingular before.

You can also see it in Options, Status and it will tell you your signal strength in dB
