How can I keep the LED flashing?

I would like the red LED only to flash when I have a new voice mail and keep flashing until I have listened to or deleted the message. I don't want it to flash for emails or anything else. I think I have it set right to flash, but it goes off after a few minutes. Can anyone please help? :cry:
