add wallpaper 8700r

How do I add a wallpaper to my 8700r? I've read before that you just email yourself a jpeg but when I do that, I cannot open the JPEG as an attachment in email?

If so I think you have to be on 4.0 for that to work. It doesn't work for me right now. We are going to 4.0 in two weeks. You could try a BIS acount or post to web and download from there.

Why would the BES version decide whether I could d/l wallpaper?!?

Anyhow we are not on BES 4.x :(

if you can upload the images to the web, it is simple to save it off of there and set as your background. Just remember it will work the best at 320x240 resolution

I use that very well on the 8700 to post pictures and ringtones to download.

My my 8700, I just send myself the jpeg, open the attachment and save it. Then go the PICTURES option to load the pictures as the wallpaper. If you cannot open the jpg file, check to make sure you have at least the 4.0 OS on your device. The 8700s should have OS version 4.1........Hope this helps.
