Why need the consumer market

For those here who don't think RIM needs to cater to the consumer market should read this.

This is why RIM is chasing the iphone with the Storm and other consumer phones. Its not just about Enterprise anymore.

Anecdotal accounts are filtering into us that many employees, particularly the IT variety, are losing their BlackBerry phones. Why? Companies can’t justify paying for employee data plans. And the BlackBerry Enterprise Service just isn’t adding up for firms looking to cut costs.
I sure wouldn't mind giving up my company BB...
