Need help!!!

Ok so im from the UK, i have got a blackberry pearl in pink (after my indigo one got stolen)

bascially im going to germany end of the month and have things like twitter, aim, msn, facebook and myspace

Will i automatically get charged for them even if i dont click on them when im away? i want to update facebook while im away, but i can go through the WAP for that instead of the apps!!

Also, if my friend has wireless network and i connect to that, can i use all my apps free of charge??

setting the bb to data off when roaming should stop the roaming data charges.

if the bb can use wifi and the apps are data apps not sms apps, then you should be able to use wifi to use apps.
