Options -> Advanced -> GPS -> Refresh GPS

The result is all 0 with 0 satellites.

I've tried many times. What could be the problem?

Pull the battery and place back and see what happens. I am on wap so I don't know which device you are using.

If the OP is actually using an 8100 (without a GPS puck) that could be the problem.

Tried several times outdoors in open fields.

The 8100 does not have an internal GPS.

pulled battery and it's working now. I've rebooted it several times (w/o pulling the battery) but that did not help

See above. The BB 8100 does not have GPS. Are you trying to use a BT puck?

i have never got mine to work. i have a 8900 curve, and outside or inside, differnt parts of the cournty, and it still doesn't work
