Phone showing GSM not EDGE anymore??

Well my phone is showing GSM and not EDGE anymore. So obviously this means that my data service is not working.

Is this a T-Mobile network problem or phone specific?? I havent messed with my phone settings so I doubt its my phone, but I dont know.

Anyone in the Los Angeles areas phone not displaying EDGE?

try a battery pull for about 10 minutes.
i had a similiar problem on t-mobile UK the other day. turns out a longer battery pull fixed it.

Oh really? I did a battery pull but not for 10 minutes.

I will try it now.

my second battery pull was about 12 hours after the original.
I was about to call customer services, but figured, try a battery again and it did come back.

I tried a 20 minute battery pull seemed like its still displaying GSM.

I will call T-Mobile in a few hours and see whats going on.
